Italian Tole Handpainted Wood Box - Large with Lots of FloralsA HUGE, completely hand painted on all sides (in oils), trinket or treasure box to be proud of! Made of wood, covered in gesso (the white you see peeking out from the design), handpainted in colors of buttercream yellow with a French blue trim and florals that include roses, chrysanthemums and more (along with leaves of olive green), this box sits on 4 legs, has a curvy appearance and is extremely bright and shiny on the inside as well as the bottom

The bottom card depicts a baby with a teddy bear on one side and a kitten on the other

here's a repurposed pharmacy pill box that features the image of Our Lady of the Scapular (Virgin Mary & Infant Jesus) to the top of the lid

It's not a big tear and it does blend in well with the piece so you might not be able to spot it at first

Light surface marks that can't be seen with the naked eye

The center floral is Powder Blue textured satin while the shoulder blossoms are first Baby Pink satin then French Yellow Ombre (set with a glass bead at the center)
