Zedist Oracle | Open Edition PrintThis was done for an album cover for the band The Mosaic Quartet. The album was called Into the Eye and had an environmental cause. Inside this piece there is an iris with the world as its pupil. Were floating out in space in the black void upon a delicate and precious self reflecting home.

It pleases her to watch it come and go

There are two female forms dancing on the right which double as mountain landscapes

Again showing the similarity between plant patterns and ordered tesellations

she also becomes the stuff of legends for millennia to come

The overlapping periodic pattern of the piece represents the suns energy stimulation photosynthesis in the arteries and cells of the leaf

I was struck by how the eye could travel up and down the curves created by these facets from the canvas plane to the tips of the curves
