Description

NYLW & W Railroad KeyHere is your chance to acquire a top shelf key. Very desirable Eastern road key that was in service from 1878 to 1895. Key is stamped NYLE & W RR for the New York Lake Erie & Western railroad. In 1895 they were reorganized back to the Erie railroad. This railroad main hauling items were coal and dairy products. Back side has the Bohannon hallmark. A single ring barrel older key from an Erie predecessor railroad.

Also on the back side has the F-S Diamond dating it around 1915-1930

with serial number 9409

Back side has serial number S 63952

Smaller style hand held operating rules book marked for the Seaboard Coast Line railroad

Anyway heavy duty

Knife has two blades one bigger and smaller size

Here is a nice piece for the N&W collectors

A little dirty will let the new owner clean it if desired

Nice harbor Belt Line key made by Slaymaker has that smooth worn finish to it

As most railroad go the Rip Track is much harder to find

Lock has seen some use considering the age

This short line acquired the old Nevada Northern railroad
