Snowdrop long chain necklaceA pretty design with two snowdrops set onto a lovely barleycorn long silver chain. When we started our adventure of exhibiting and selling at RHS events we were invited to a spring show at Linley Hall behind their London headquarters known then as the snowdrop show. My new snowdrop design is inspired by the passion of galanthophiles we met there.

The flowers are 15mm across on a handmade 10mm short drop hoop with a stud fitting

from their textured veins to their organic form

And call no king my peer

These studs at 8mm are the smallest acorns I have made so far

set onto a 22 inch barleycorn style chain it features a beautifully detailed crocus flower that has been vermeil plated inside

The flowers are cast open and I work on each one stressing the silver into shape which allows the stamens to quietly chime onto the inside of the flower

as a scarf pin or as a brooch pin to adorn anything
