Pali Market BasketsPali Market baskets are handwoven in two remote villages in Myanmar. The traditional Burmese weaving techniques have been passed down through generations and this particular style of basket is still widely used by locals in their daily lives to carry fresh produce, fish and daily essentials. Baskets are woven from colourful pallet strapping made from recycled plastics, plastic bottles and other plastics collected from gutters, streets and beaches.
