A fine Egyptian Pink Limestone Cosmetic Jar, Middle Kingdom, ca 2040-1786 BCEthe fine, convex sided jar with gently tapering sides to a small flat base, and hollowed to thin walled perfection. Condition: Upper rim missing, otherwise intact and in excellent condition overall. A rare and extremely fine example. Dimensions: Height: 5 cm (2 inches) Provenance: Private Florida collection, acquired in the early 1950's.
